Benefit to Having Your AC Tuned Up

You can save a lot of money and energy throughout the summer by tuning up your AC system. Tuning up your AC system can save you as much as 500 kilowatt hours, or $50-$60 a year for up to 6 years! That's an average savings of 17% on your cooling bill and more than 20% if you seal leaky ducts. Duct sealing services last for 20 years and reduce both heating and cooling costs.

Saving money and energy is easy through GWP's Smart Home AC Tune-Up and Duct program. Services are provided by Proctor Engineering contractors, using Proctor's unique and proprietary computerized "Check Me!" system to ensure your AC system is tuned for maximum efficiency.

Getting Started

1. Call 1-877-422-2432 to select a certified contractor and make an appointment to have your HVAC and/or duct system tested
2. GWP will help pay for your air conditioner tune-up by providing a free condenser coil cleaning, (a $45 value!) and $65* towards a refrigerant charge or air flow correction if it’s needed.
3. If you want the contractor to check the ductwork for leaks, GWP will pay up to $275 to help fix your duct leakage. The incentive amount is determined by the existing leakage in your duct system.
4. The system must be repaired in accordance to program standards.
5. You can choose to do one or all parts of the program.
