Tree Power

The Tree Power Program helps eligible residential customers save energy by offering up to three free shade trees to plant on their property.

Benefits of Having Shade Trees on Your Property

This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice and is provided to qualified customers on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are no longer available.

Properly planted shade trees can help residents save 10%-50% in air conditioning costs. With the Tree Power Program, Glendale residential customers can choose up to three free shade trees from a list of 30 different varieties.

A Cooler Home and Lower Energy Bills Are Easy As 1-2-3

  1. Select a tree of your liking from the list below.
  2. Work with our arborist to find the most favorable planting location for your new trees, ensuring that the trees provide the necessary energy saving shade once they are fully matured.
  3. The shade trees are delivered semi-matured, complete with stakes, ties, arbor guards, and an instructional DVD on tree planting and maintenance, all FREE!
