• July 2007 – City Council Approved Phase I of City's Water Conservation Plan
• Plan calls for 10% voluntary water reduction
• July 2007 – Launched Glendale It's Time to Save Water Campaign
• Message – Reduce water usage by 10% or save 20 gallons per person per day
• Monthly presentations at GWP Commission Meetings
• Water Conservation tips in every Source Newsletter and update tips on Website
• Attend community meetings for conservation presentations
• Distributed 1425 table tents to 35 restaurants
• Distributed 638 mirror stickers to restaurants, apt. buildings, hotels, and City buildings
• Mailed letters with tips to residential customers, irrigation meters, property management and HOAs
• GWP billing and outreach envelopes carry conservation messages
• GWP bill messages changed every two months
• GWP Fleet will have magnetic water conservation messages
• Drought tolerant garden at local park
• Free residential and professional landscape training classes offered for four months
• ABC 7 "Jumbotron" will display GWP conservation messages
