Rebates for Energy Efficiency Retrofits
Multi-Family
GWP will provide incentives for multi-family building owners to retrofit
their buildings. Retrofit incentives may include funding to hire energy
consultants to perform a comprehensive energy audit of the building, and
to install energy saving recommendations.
Incentives for installed energy savings measures will generally be
limited to $0.08 per kWh saved over the life of the measures up to 35%
of installed cost or $2,000 per unit whichever is less. Technical
assistance will generally be limited to $0.10 per square foot of
retrofitted space. GWP estimates that cash incentives will average
$1,500 per dwelling unit.
Energy saving estimates must be documented by a comprehensive energy
audit or similar report completed by an energy engineer.

of installed cost or $2,500 per unit whichever is less. Technical
assistance will generally be limited to $0.10 per square foot of
retrofitted space. GWP estimates that cash incentives will average
$2,000 per dwelling unit.
Energy saving estimates must be documented by a comprehensive energy
audit or similar report completed by an energy engineer. Maximum

partnership with the City of Glendale
Community Development and Housing Department.
