Landscape Classes Combined with
Water Conservation 101!
Glendale Water & Power is now offering Landscape and Water Conservation 101
classes free to Glendale residents. Learn to plant a beautiful and inviting landscape
around your home with CA Friendly plants that can resist summer heat, conserve water,
and save money on your water bills!
You will learn:
- what you can do now to keep your landscape green during mandatory water conservation;
- information to help you plan for the fall planting of California-friendly, low-water-use plants in your landscape;
- how to find a water leak on your property;
- how you can easily and inexpensively reduce your water use.
You will also receive a take home kit of water-saving devices worth over $25 for FREE.
Class space is limited, please call 818-548-4828 to reserve your place. Class location
will be provided when your reservations are made.
Class schedule for August, September, and October include:
- Saturday, September 11 – 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 22 – 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 2 – 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
